According to a statement from Slovakian airline AirExplore, the company will lease four 737-800 aircraft from Nigeria-based Air Peace from November 2024 to March 2025. The aircraft will operate under a wet lease agreement, with AirExplore providing the aircraft, pilots, maintenance and insurance, and Air Peace providing the remaining cabin crew for domestic flights within Nigeria.
“We are excited about this new partnership for the winter season,” Martin Stulajter, Chief Executive Officer at AirExplore said. “This collaboration will not only benefit the client’s customers but also strengthen our presence in the African aviation market while sustaining revenue during the challenging winter period.”
This agreement was signed during a visit by a delegation from AirExplore to Lagos where an agreement was reached on the contract.
“We look forward to working closely with the team at Air Peace as we continue to enable each other’s growth and success,” Stulajter said.
